Hi everyone,

The touchscreen on my laptop works perfectly except for the top 3rd to 1/4 of the screen which does not.

I have tried the calibration tool several times but it appears that you need to be somewhere near the correct calibration for the tool to work. When it gives me the top corner crosses to press it won’t register unless I press in the middle of the screen somewhere which doesn’t help.

I have checked the screen drivers and they are up to date so I’m a bit stuck. Any help would be much appreciated.

Maybe if you update to an uptodate version of Windows the OS will contain better drivers. Worth a try.

Yes thanks for that. So I now have another problem. It always updated automatically but when I check on Windows Update nothing happens, I get no option to check for updates just the words “windows update”, blank white screen below and the tiny blue dots moving across the very top of the screen.

give it time. It sometimes takes a longer time to get the latest info about updates, especially when the servers are very busy...

Thanks Wolfie! My app and text settings were 100% but recommended for some reason is 150%, changed it and the screen is now calibrated correctly.

I’ll just have to put up with all these BIG shortcuts on my homescreen.
