Hi.
I have a 3tb external hard drive and one folder that contains 372 folders which I can’t access.

(Due to a recent computer change) I now I must change ownership of every folder separately 372 times.

Is there an easier and a faster way to do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated

If the link is too much for you, Try the portable desktop fix.

unzip the attached. It should give you two reg edits. One to add and one to remove. After you have run the !Add!, it will give you the option, in any file or folder, to "Take Ownership" , when you right click the file/folder. It may not be 100% successful with certain system file which are locked by Microsoft.
