Thumbnails Not Showing for DST Files

Windows 10 isn't displaying thumbnails for DST file formats; it only shows a blank page. I tried a system restore, but it didn't work. The embroidery programs run fine, but I still can't see the thumbnails for the files. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

It probably is that no photo viewer is available/installed that can handle the format. A quick check shows AutoCAD can handle the .dst format but it used to an expensive program and the format may not be exactly the same. I have two programs installed that use the .ged extension but they are quite different, one is for a genealogy program and the other is for a graphics creating/editing program.
