Something happened and your PIN isn’t available

I restarted my computer to a clean boot to resolve an unrelated issue, but now I’m seeing the “Something happened and your PIN isn’t available” screen. I tried going into safe mode, but it didn’t work. I then attempted to access advanced options by pressing the Shift key while clicking the restart button, which worked temporarily until every option required me to enter my password. Despite resetting my password on my phone and successfully signing into my account there, the password is still not recognized on my computer.
