After upgrading to Windows 10 one of the fisrt things i noticed was double left click didnt open folders. After trowelling through help in the forums no joy.
Then i opened, control panel-hardware and devices-mouse.
This will open a box with all mouse options.I noticed under the button tab my open folders slide option was set to fast.
There is a small icon folder to test the speed of opening folders
When i clicked it the folder did not open.
Then i moved the slide control to halfway point and clicked icon again and hey presto, it opened after double clicking test folder icon.
Now when i open folders with double left click they open as normal.
This solution worked for me,and i hope others find it hepful too.
