Hi,
I realize you are trying a Win 10 reset.
I was wondering if you were having issues with your PC which prompted a Win 10 reset. A factory reset would not be possible if you upgraded to Win 10.
The Win 10 error message gives no error codes or reasons why it is failing. So it is not possible to provide any assistance without knowing why it is failing.
Please provide additional information such as:
1. Manufacturer and product number of your PC. Did you purchase or create a Factory Recovery Disc set?
2. Did you upgrade to Win 10? What was the factory installed operating system?
3. What procedure are you using when initiating the Win 10 Reset process?
4. Were you having performance issues with the current install, if so, what problems have you been experiencing with the current Win 10 install which caused you to try a Win 10 reset?
Have you tried using the Win 10 Media Creation Tool instead of the baked in Win 10 Recovery option in Settings? You can download the tool
here and follow Reset instructions at
this site.
