Snipping Tool not working again

Hi
Anyone out there had the same problem? I keep losing my Snipping tool and have to restore win 10 to get it back. Don't want to keep doing this as it is time consuming and a pain.
When I select the tool all I get is a white box with a red circle with a white X.
Any help gratefully accepted Ian

Try booting into Safe Mode and see if the problem persists.

If not then try a Clean Boot and see what that produces.

Finally, try creating a new user as a member of the local administrator's group ( not a standard user).
Log on with the new user account and see if the problem persists. There may just be an issue with your profile.
