SOLVED Silly sata cable question

Does it matter which end goes into the hhd and motherboard?
In other words i gather the cable is two way - so does not matter if the straight in end or the elbow bent end goes into the motherboard and like wise onto the hhd or ssd.

Nope.
Dealer's choice.
Generally I use the 90 on the physical drive and the straight on the MoBo.
Just be mindful of your particular application, especially with regard to spring locking on some ends and then use the cable as best fits your needs.
