"short date" doesn't show on taskbar

I changed the date formats from "M/d/yyyy" to "ddd M/d/yyyy".
as shown in the attached files,
from Jan to Oct, it does show up on taskbar under the time.
but Nov & Dec do not even show up. I see the time only without the date format..
Anybody knows?

Thank you for your help!
However, in my case, I just added "ddd" before "M/d/yyyy" (default Windows10 setting).
It's not related to "d/M/yyyy" or "dd/MM/yyyy".

It may have something to do with the region you have selected? EU countries use a different date format than the US format.
In the search box, type "Date" select "Change the way Dates and lists are displayed". The pop up will have 3 tabs; Format, Location, and Administrative. Select the date format and your region.
