Several Apps don't open now including Store

It wasxall working ok but now many of the Apps cannot be opened. Does anyone know of a solution

Hi Florence,

The Windows Store caches items and when cluttered that can prevent it opening.

You can clear cache by:
  • Right-clicking on Start then left-clicking on Run
  • In the Run dialog type wsreset.exe then click OK

For the other apps you could try Microsoft's app troubleshooter located here:

Thanks for your advice. I tried it, then called Microsoft and they tried but couldn't repair then tried to create a new account and it ran out of space. HP partitions the hard drive but when this computer was reinstalled I am not sure the partitioning is set up properly.

If they attempted to create a new user account they must suspect your current user account with the non working apps has a corrupted profile.

If you open File Explorer and right-click on C: in the left pane and select Properties take a look at your used space and free space and let me know what it says.
