SOLVED Search Box Not Working

Suddenly today my bottom left search box is not functional. When I click on nothing happens. Also can not type in the "Search the web and Windows" area. Help please!

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Right click the start button and choose "System"
From the left column choose "System protection"
Click the "System Restore" button
You may need to tick the check box "Show more restore points"
Pick one before the problem and see if that helps with the issue.

OK.... thank you for the feedback
Now I'm wondering if some recent update, perhaps even a Windows Update (Update Tuesday) may have cause the issue.
If so and it is offered again, please note the update that is causing the problem.
