Screen goes black when pressing Windows button, Start Menu, or search bar

My screen goes black when I press the Windows button, Start Menu, or search bar. Sometimes, after a while, the screen returns to normal with the Start Menu in view, but usually, I have to close the Start Menu or exit the search bar to get my screen back. This happens every time I press the Windows button or search for something in the bar.

I am using Windows 10 Pro and have all the latest Windows updates installed.
