Samsung Super Writemaster no longer working

The above device worked perfectly OK under Windows 7 Pro but now does not even appear as a device under Windows 10. Cannot find any posts and have tried Samsung site for drivers to no avail.

The drive spins up and the light flashes but even with the original CD inserted no one is home, very frustrating!

Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.
