SOLVED Run does not remember the last entry

Windows 10 Home RTM.
IE11 default.

In the past, if I opened the Run and enter a command, that command will stay in the Run box.
Next time I opened the Run, I would see that last command in the box.

Today, I notice it does not do that anymore. My last entry will not appear in the Run box. Just a blank Run box.

Is that normal ?
Do other Win 10 Home users have the same thing ?

Did you just happen to run Ccleaner?
That'll wipe out the contents of the run dialog box cache

Yes, I did.
I went to my other laptop > ran a Run command > exit.
Reopened Run > command still there.
Ran Ccleaner > re-opened Run > command gone.

Thank you. Now I know why.

When will the Run dialog cache be rebuilt/replenished ?
Right now, I tried msconfig, netplwiz, etc, and Run still does not remember the last one when I reopen Run.
I ran the Ccleaner yesterday.

Yes..... I believe that's it.

Hmmmm. I don't know. I would have thought, immediately, but evidently not.
I'll have to experiment myself and investigate.
Are you running the latest version of Ccleaner?

No. ver 5.05.5176 (64-bit)

Adding................. Just installed the new version. Issue remains the same. Run does not remember the last entry.

Just tested the new version on mine, with default settings, didn't change or alter anything within Ccleaner.
The Run Dialog Box cache list is already repopulating, ran msconfig and ncpa.cpl
and they are both there.
Not sure what is going on with yours.
I thought a system reboot might be required but it wasn't for mine.

Check this registry key and see if your list is actually being rebuilt and just not showing for some reason

Maybe have a look at that

Mine just said Value not set.
Nothing else under it.

Unfortunately, none of the 2 tutorials work.

For the 1st one, there is no such option as.............
Place a checkmark near Web addresses

For the 2nd tutorial, there is no effect after completing the procedure.

I even restarted to make sure.

Not a big deal, but perplexing.
