I have had Windows 10 on my computer as soon as the icon showed on my taskbar to upgrade from Windows 8.1. I've not had any issues with it. When Windows 10 Anniversary became available, I did the upgrade. I had issues with it from it freezing up on me in Chrome while one webpage was running and Kindle was open as well. My cursor would freeze, using CTRL+ALT+DELTE wouldn't work for Task Manager, to restart/shutdown....nothing. I reverted back to the version of Winows 10 I had before the update. When I read they had fixed the issues, I went back to the anniversary edition. I had the same issue of my laptop (Acer Aspire) freezing in Chrome with one webpage open. It did this twice in less than 12 hours after going back to the anniversary edition with the new update. Yes I restarted my computer after lol. So once again I reverted back to the version of Windows 10 I had before the Anniversary Edition. I now can't use the Alarms and Clock app on my computer that came with Windows 10 either. If I click on it in START/APPS/Alarms and clock? It flashes and disappears. It won't let me update it either. Is anyone else having these issues? Any fixes you've done that have worked? I've tried a few and none of them have worked. I loved the alarms app! Any help would be sincerely appreciated! :)

My first suggestion would be to make sure that you have all your critical data backed up safely and that you consider creating a disk image as suggested here https://www.windows10forums.com/threads/please-for-your-own-peace-of-mind.794/
Which I hope you've been doing all along with the recent upgrades and roll-backups you conducted.
Then I would suggest going here
Code:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO/?tduid=(3d3a835c62d275ae770225c6aa1c4972)(256380)(2459594)(TnL5HPStwNw-WaTVja5C7z2Vs7q82apCPg)()
OR here
Code:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
To secure the latest available upgrade media and try performing the upgrade again.
There have been a few cumulative updates that have addressed some of the issues that occurred with the Anniversary Update, so after completing the upgrade using the latest available installation media, then I would suggest manually running Windows Updates to see if there was anything left remaining, as well as checking the Store App manually to see what updates might be there as well.
