Retrieve a file from external backup drive inadvertently deleted.

I inadvertently lost all the information in a file by overwriting it.

I have an external drive, which is usually called “D”.

When I followed the instructions in Windows technical support I got the message that the external drive D could not be found.

The filename that I am looking for was originally on OneDrive.

Is there any cloud where I could retrieve the lost file?
