Reset Dell Inspiron 15 Laptop

I am unable to restore my Dell Inspiron laptop to factory settings in windows 10. I have tried resetting by pressing the F8 key during startup and all the options . I have tried various methods described in recovery options but the reset never completes. Is there a sure-fire way to reset a Windows 10 laptop to factory settings. I thought it would be an easy process since I backed up all the data so I can delete everything on the laptop.

However, I would advise you to First create a full disk/SSD image. Macrium Reflect Free is a good solution or there are other Image back up programs. A good tutorial on how to use Macrium Reflect and back up all your Data before attempting reset or reinstall
