Hello, friends! I had a failed update, a problem that many others have experienced as well. Microsoft's suggestion to address this issue is to expand the recovery partition.
After running the command "reagentc /info," I observed that winRE is disabled.
My question is, why is winRE disabled? I suspect that this might be due to my preference for using flexible disk imaging software instead of Microsoft's environment for recovering Windows in case of issues. This software allows me to store and, if necessary, recover the operating system or any corrupted data. I am unsure what triggers Windows to enable winRE. is it always activated, or is there a specific trigger?
I would appreciate clarification on this matter.
