Recovery Free Space

Here's one for you guys smarter than me. I made a recovery of Win 10 on a USB drive,. Somewhere along the line I remember clicking something along the line of "delete recovery partition" or something like that for C drive. There is now a new volume of 8GB shown in C. Question: is it possible to combine this new volume with the free space in C? Free in C is 800+GB new volume not allocated is 8GB. Is the new volume so insignificant that I should forget it?
