Question about static IP

Hi house, I am new to networking thing, I am searching for setting static public IP for my computer/internet. I have successfully set static IP for IPv4 in "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties. It always shows my given IP in ipconfig/all. Now do I need to set public static IP from my router? How?

The public IP address is given you by your provider. You can ask for a static IP but it usually costs extra....
