Proxy Setting for USA

Hello everyone; I want to set my computer proxy settings such that it can be displayed as it is in United States. This is because I wast to activate a licence of Microsoft Office and it is region based license which I purchased with Surface 3 Pro from USA. Now, I am moved to India and when I try to activate my licence it says it is region based licence and it can be activated only in USA. For that I need my computer to be in USA which is not possible physically. So I tried to set proxy of USA IP address but it didn't work. May be I made some mistake. Can anyone help me for this?
