Windows 10 updated about an hour ago and now when I open a second tab it opens with yahoo instead of Chrome. How do I remove yahoo? I can't stand yahoo.
Yahoo is a search engine, not a browser. I assume, you open the second tab in Chrome??
What you need to do is set your default search engine to the one you want to have in the settings of your browser.
I can't help you with chrome as I do not use it therefore I do not know on how to change the setting...
Management of the "New Tab" function in "Chrome" is no longer as easy as it had been in the past, nor as it is in other browsers.
The Chrome Web Store has a number of "extensions" you can add to Chrome for this purpose.
This is the one I use https://chrome.google.com/webstore/...na?utm_source=chrome-app-launcher-info-dialog
Add it, configure it immediately if you wish by adding
Code:
https://www.google.com
OR the URL of your choice
You can change it any time you want by going to the settings icon, more tools, extensions
Select the Details link under "New Tab Redirect" then the "Extensions options" link
Type whatever you wish into the text box labeled "Redirect URL"
