Recently, my laptop had an update and was working fine. It was playing just fine on the 22nd of July, but the next day, the audio/headphone jack stopped working. Even at 100% volume, there was no sound. The troubleshooter restarted my laptop, but still nothing.
As of the 24th of July, all of my audio files (mp3, m4a, etc.) and videos (mp4) do not work and are not playing on Windows Media Player or Groove Music/Media Player.
TLDR: My audio and video files are not supported anymore, and I have no sound despite the headphone driver saying it's working and up to date.
