Problems uploading a cover photo for Facebook page

Hi I don't know if you can advise me? I've reapetedly tried to start a page on Facebook about secret dogs but every time it asks me to add a cover picture, whether I'm using my memory stick or not the popup box which has my photo's on keeps popping up and won't shut down after use rendering my PC useless so I have to restart the whole machine.

I don't know if this is a problem with Facebook. I had the same problem with both my memory sticks while trying to add a cover photo for this page, but I think the problem could now be Facebook. I've given up in a way, is there any other way I could do a page like as in starting a blog etc. Sorry to ask, excuse the spelling as my fingers seem to get in a muddle typing.

first save your pics to your PC and upload them from there and make sure you remove the USB stick before you go on FB!.
