My laptop ran the latest (July 2019) Windows 10 upgrade last weekend, and, after removing my access to the internet (now restored, obviously!), I now have no printers recognised when I run a search using Control Panel. I need these for what i do, so now I am stuck.

I have tried the vendor's site for a re-install of the drivers, but nothing seems to be working. I am an ordinary user, not a tech-head.

Ready to throw this piece of junk through the window - What a complete and utter waste of my time!

Go into "Devices and Printers" in the Control Panel.
Click "Add a printer".
It should find your printers, if not, post back.

Hi Dave,

Many thanks. Tried all that stuff and it wasn't working. Found the problem. Don't know why, but during the failed update/roll-back, for some reason, the printer lost it's connection to the wireless router. So, it was no longer on the network. When I turning off the printer, and then did a re-install of the wireless password onto it, a test print magically popped out, so now (as of 10 mins ago) all printing OK. I wish MS would really just roll W10 back to your "true" state before a failed upgrade, as it seems as though it just rolls back to a "default" pre-upgrade set-up, rather than my own, bespoke position, but what do I know. Anyway, many thanks for your kind response. Have a good day.
