Preview Build 19018

[Trouble]

NOVEMBER 5, 2019 2:02 PM today we’re releasing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 19018 (20H1) to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring.

That proved to be a long 2 hours, to download, install, then restart and complete installation.

So far it seems fairly stable though.

Is anyone else getting constant pushes to install USB Host Controllers.

The last few preview builds push the identical drivers each time I install the latest insider preview.

Nope, but then I'm running it on some pretty generic hardware so I probably wouldn't

What I am wondering is, why are Insiders still getting build upgrades. If the new process is like they are doing with 1909, why not put Insiders in that same process. Unless, 1909 is an anomaly and they will be going back to full build upgrades for 20H1.

I did see the Skip Ahead ring was going away...

I've been wondering if the next few years, 1H is build upgrades and 2H will be fixes and tweeks.

In the past they've opened and closed it only to open it again, but....
This time it looks like it ain't comin back.

What I am wondering is, why are Insiders still getting build upgrades.
