poor video

Hi, I'm having a problem with video playback. Videos in Media Player work perfectly but if I try to play videos using the 'Photos' tile all videos flash green colours and are pixilated. Has anyone else had the same problem?

 

[Trouble]

I believe that the new Movies and TV app is intended for video viewing now, rather that the Photos app.
I just used it to browse to some local videos of my grandkids on my computer and it seemed to work very well.
