Pictures saving as Media Center file

So whenever I go and save pictures, they save as Media Center file instead of JPG, JPEG, etc. Is there a way I can change this?

Do you have Media Center installed?

You can go to settings and set the parameters of what software can open what type of files. Settings, apps, default apps and check your default apps. Then scroll down and go through each: choose default apps by file type, choose default apps by protocol, set defaults by app.
