PCloud Backup

Does anyone have familiarity with pCloud Backup? I am having trouble understanding how to use my pCloud account to backup my PC files. I've watched several YouTube videos but still can't figure out pCloud.

I do not use cloud services as I do not trust them (Do you know where the servers are located and who has access to it??) I use external HDD/SSD as backup drives. However, I have used Dropbox and the MS OneDrive before but discontinued them for those reasons.
