Is anyone familiar with Overdrive for audiobooks, ebooks, etc? Everything was fine in other versions of Windows but since Windows 10 an audiobook takes so long to download that you could actually handwrite it faster. Overdrive itself is no help; they will direct you to your library for help and, frankly, they are quite unfamiliar with technical problems. Anyone have a fix to speed things up?

I use OverDrive all the time.
I've never had any trouble with download speeds as it relates to Windows 10 or any recent updates.
I would suspect the network or its' components either source or destination.
Are you using the full desktop program or the store app??
Make sure you are using the latest (newest) version of the program.
Do all your network devices, have the latest drivers and firmware?
