OBJ file cannot be opened by 3D Painter

Hi,

I know that 3D Painter should normally open .OBJ files, but when I try to open an .OBJ file, I receive a message saying something went wrong.

Do you have any suggestions for resolving this issue? Thanks.

Hey there, sometimes OBJ files can have issues if they aren't exported correctly. Try opening the file in another 3D program like Blender to see if it works there. If it does, re-export it and then try opening it in 3D Painter again

Also, make sure your 3D Painter is up to date. An outdated version might not support certain features of the .OBJ file. If that doesn’t work, check the file for any errors or missing data using a validator tool.
