I have found that once you have installed a Nvidia driver using GeForce experience that Windows 10 does not attempt to install old drivers for the card ever again...this is good!

I like GeForce Experience, but I grew tired of cleaning up after it installed new updates. I'd have to manually find the old installation files/folders and remove them myself. And Windows is just as bad keeping an old driver storage location. It only takes three updates and your system has 2GB of old graphics installation versions. And that is not including GeForce Experience updates that stack up as well.

If I'm going to have to manually cleanup after a driver update, I might as well manually update as well.

I've had nothing but issues installing drivers through GeForce Experience. It always takes an extra reboot or two to complete the process. There's only one "proper" way to install new drivers, and that's using DDU.

It's funny that with AMD's Gaming Evolved, I've had no issues updating drivers (the couple times I did it that way).

My Nvidia Driver just updated itself to 359.00. It must be so new that Nvidia does not have it on their site--Strange.

Just checked and nothing in Windows Update for mine (GTX 760)
Maybe, finally, my settings here are actually being obeyed after all these recent updates to the OS.

There are users on the GFX forum wondering about why this is not listed on Nvidia's Website.

My Geforce Experience just updated itself. It is listed on Major Geeks but not the Driver.

As noted elsewhere, I "fixed" a "video_tdr_failure" error by disabling the NVidia graphics processor on a laptop that has both NVidia and Intel graphics. The result is slightly slower graphics but at least no BSODs caused by the NVidia environment. Searching the 'Net for "video_tdr_failure" returns many many hits for apparently years, BTW. I just ran into them because, after a year using the laptop, I tried to install and run a game for the first time within the last couple days.
