Hope someone knows a solution or Microsoft fixes the OS bug:
After I upgraded to Windows 10, none of my hard drives appear in This PC, even the C:\ system drive. Any time I need to navigate to a drive in some application, the drive is not listed in This PC, so I use shortcuts.
However, some applications have the old fashioned navigation tool that does not allow shortcuts, so these are an even bigger pain.
They all have letters assigned and can be accessed via those letters via DOS commands. There is a working photographs storage drive, a long term data storage drive, many removable Flash and USB sockets and a large system backup RAID array drive, For example:
None of the above drive letters can be made to appear in This PC, though all may be navigated to in Explorer windows, if you explicitly type in the drive, e.g.: E:\
However when I plug in an iPhone or Android, the Devices and drives category appears and the phone is listed. Not that Explorer access to iPhone is worth anything, as iPhone users (victims) know
Help! How long can a bug like this go unnoticed by Microsoft?
