No sound on my Sonic View monitor speakers after installing Windows 10. I have checked the cable connections and the drives look up to date. Here are the devices I have under Sound device manager. Can you help?

Right click the speaker icon in the taskbar bottom right next to the clock and choose playback devices.
See which item in the list has the Green check mark, indicating the default speaker system being used.

I assume you are using an HDMI cable to connect the monitor to the computer.
Select the VX2370 Series device and ten click the Properties button and then select the advanced tab
Try testing with alternative sampling rates to see if you can find one or more that seem to work.

Do any of the volume level meters move when you are playing sound?

Do you have a headset you could plug in for testing and change the output to that?

The volume meters do move when I play back voice mail.

I tried ear plugs that didn't work.

If you right click the speaker icon the last option on the bottom is to troubleshoot audio problems. You might try that but right now it looks the volume is turned down/muted or the cable or TV is not working.

When you tried the headphones you did set the speakers or headphones as the default device first?

Trouble may have other suggestions but if the volume meters are not showing sound levels then you are not getting any from your system. You might enable the speaker and headphone outputs to see if they might be moving.

Basically all I might suggest is to change the default device temporarily then change it back. Perhaps that would reset something. If it isn't that and your sound devices show no yellow triangles then I will go back to the possibly of the sound being muted or turned way down.

In the Device Manager at the top of the listing is shows Audio inputs and outputs, do they agree with the other panel?

Otherwise, I have no other suggestions.
