New M/Board,how to config speakers

Have installed an MSI motherboard, want to config my 5.1 surround speaker system.The user guide says that after the Realtek Audio Console is installed it can be used to change sound settings.New to all this-do I have install this console or is it already "in house" .Where do I safely get it from etc.When I previously used a Creative sound card all these speaker settings were build in.Help please

The Realtek hardware is likely on the mobo. The mobo manual should tell you.

Likely the Realtek audio console stuff could be on the DVD that came with the mobo, together with all kinds of other drivers and useful stuff. Hopefully there will be a file on the DVD saying what is what and what order to install.

Or, failing that, go to RealTek's web site and go to support.
