Hello all, I developed an odd problem today were my PC takes a looong time to reboot.

Starting from being off is like lightning, 3-4 seconds.

Operation other than restarting is excellent.

I checked my SDD with the Magician software, ran full scans with MWB and Windows Defender and checked for anything odd using the task manager and can find no abnormallitys. Nothing has changed with this PC is a while so the long restart has me concerned.

Task mnger is reporting 7-8 seconds, but a stopwatch is saying more like 35 seconds.

I did have an error today though, it is attached.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which part of the reboot seems to take a long time - can you tell from what is happening on the monitor? i.e. does it look like it's taking a long time for Windows to close existing apps when you try to restart (i.e. it's the shutdown taking a long time)?

Do you get that WerFault.exe error everytime? It's likely there's a hardware/driver fault is so and this could indeed be causing you problems.

Could you please post your full system specs?
