Unable to access music files after upgrade to windows 10
Each song that won't play has an exclamation point next to itWhat happens when you try?
Do you get an error?
Try using Windows Media Player....
Start Button -> All Apps -> Windows Accessories -> Windows Media Player
Instead of the default Groove Music App
See if that works.
If the music files are located somewhere other than the default location you may have to configured your library settings to include that location.
Are they local files are cloud based files?
Are the DRM protected?
When you double click them in Windows Media Player, do they produce an error?

I have all of my music ,pictures, and critical data backed up on external hard driveSo have you installed or re-installed iTunes? Have you signed in with your Apple Store account?
