I've been using Win10 about a year now. This morning when I booted the computer I got a long "Updating windows" screen. I thought this was odd since I had done a update Dec 13. Well when the desktop finally appeared all my usual file and program icons were gone. It just had a few down the left side like it comes from the factory.
I had two user accounts- one that I used only for admin purposes. Everything else- the things I use every day were on the second account. After combing through various menus and folders it appears that this account has just disappeared- along with a number of programs that were associated with it- like Firefox with all my bookmarks and passwords. How can I get these back??
