Thank you for your reply.
When I downloaded W.10, my Office Colour scheme options, blue, silver, black, were no longer available. All Command letters, symbols, and titles became reduced in size and faint.

Since I was not happy with the W.10 colour schemes in general, I uninstalled the program. However, I understand one day W.10 will replace previous versions of windows. Therefore, I would like to learn more regarding how to adjust the settings to my personal needs and requirements.

Thank you, Catlin.

I have no solution for you. Just a couple of passing comments:

1. This might put you at ease a little ................. (assuming you are now using Win 7)
Windows 7 will continue to get MS support until January 14th, 2020.
By that time Windows 10 might probably become obsolete itself. Who knows ?

2. You gave up Windows 10 because of the colour issue with Office 2007 ?
It ( the colour ) must be extremely important to you.

Thank you David for your reply. 2020? Who knows where we will be by then.
Anyway, I am certain along the way MS will come up with all kinds of
modifications and options that may convince me to retry W.10.

Actually colour, clarity and size of font is most important to me because
I spend many hours of my day writing with MS Word. I do not want to
augment the zoom to 125% to be able to work without squinting and straining.

I am happy with MS Office 2007’s black colour scheme, grey Command Bar,
white page, with black or dark blue, Times Roman 14 font. I could not get the
same effect with W.10.

Regards, Catlin.

I also have Office 2007 but without Outlook.
Would you please show me how to set the colour scheme that you mentioned in your previous OS ?

Of course David. By the way, I do not use ‘Outlook’ either.
Better still, take a look at the image posted by ‘BigFeet’.
It is beyond my understanding why I could not achieve this.
The colour options changed from blue, silver, black
to the W.10 black, purple, orange, etc
Also, as I mentioned previously, the Command Bar
seemed to be reduced from normal size, faint and out of
focus.

Thank you ‘BigFeet’.

Cheers!

‘BigFeet’,

Did you uninstall Office before you downloaded
and installed W.10?

Cheers!
