Moving Messages In Outlook "this Operation Cannot Be Performed As The Message Has Changed "

" this operation cannot be performed as the message has changed "

I have tired changing the pre view window but I still receive this mamny many times a day.
there is no pattern to it.
is there a permanent fix?

Haven't experienced that error yet in either Outlook 2013 or 2016.
Have you tried it without having the preview pane open, or minimally on a message that does not have preview pane focus. Does that seem to have any impact on the error?

thanks but I have done this and makes no change.
I am not alone with this issue I believe

I don't normally get messages such as that but the sender may be restricting it or some type of link may be involved.

I have seen messages about saving a message after your download pictures, could that be involved?
