I repeatedly encountered a bad pool header error that caused my system to crash. Part of the recommended troubleshooting process was to disable all startup apps and then turn them back on one by one. When I turned the computer back on I was brought to the login page but the login box is missing. The only icons are network connections, ease of use, and power buttons. I also cannot enter safemode as my password is not recognized. I searched the net and found similar issues but none of the fixes worked like sfc /scannow, repair, windows recovery environment, etc. I've tried everything short of a clean boot. Any suggestions?
