How will Laptops with win10 with S mode survive the change, if purchased..Are they better than Google?.It seems they will use the cloud system.

You mean the change to Windows 11?

From MS Docs site.
"
For the best Windows 11 upgrade experience, eligible devices should be running Windows 10, version 20H1 or later.

Note
S mode is only supported on the Home edition of Windows 11. If you are running a different edition of Windows in S mode, you will need to first switch out of S mode prior to upgrading.

Switching a device out of Windows 10 in S mode also requires internet connectivity. If you switch out of S mode, you cannot switch back to S mode later.

"
It seems to say that if the machine can run W11 and is already in S mode it will be fine.

Yes sorry..It looks like a shift to cloud base computers in the future. I just wondered how they would manage on win11 on such small specs, when a lot are saying their bigger computers can't run win11.

For some that just do shopping online or browsing and not gaming, surely running windows 11 s mode will be sufficient won't?.The laptops look cheap enough.
