Microsoft Flight Simulator A Century of flight FS2009

I have Fs2009 and it worked fine on Windows 8.1 64 bit. But I can not get it to run on windows 10 even when I switch to compatability mode Windows 8.
I know this is a old game but thought it would run using compatability mode
Any help would be great

High, keep an eye on Flight Simulator Problems in windows 10 support which I have just started, a couple of members have put in some suggestions which may help , unfortunately you will see that I am still struggling with it.
