I originally used a hotmail address for my computer account. I want to change the account name to a outlook address and delete the hotmail account.

I cannot clean out the hotmail name out. I can change it's password but not it's name. Going to my Microsoft account page shows the outlook address but when I try to sync my phone, it has the old hotmail address as my account name.

Does anyone know how to completely clean out the old hotmail address from my account?
