This has been going on from the start of using Windows 10. When I turn on my PC, it comes to the log in screen where you have to put your password in the box. If I don't do anything for a 30 seconds, the display goes black, as if it is going to sleep mode or something. When I move the mouse or press the keyboard immediately, it will recover. But if I don't do anything immediately, it will become unresponsive or it will take a very long time to come back to life. Is there anything I can do to prevent windows from going into this mode? My monitor settings to close are 1 hour after not using as same as the screen saver. I just can't find if there is a different settings to adjust this.
Thanks

You need to check your <power options>. Go to control panel and click on power options. then click on any <change plan settings> there and check the time it is set to. You can increase the time from the dropdown menu as there is the <turn off display> and <put computer to sleep>.
Change those setting according to your needs
