LOcal disk D:\ would be your DATA drive where you stored all your data to save room on your OS C:\ drive it must be running out of space because you have filled it with data?

Having a screen shot of Disk Management could help. It's possible D: could be a partition on the only drive and if it is relatively small, less than 1GB, it may be a Recovery/Restore/System Reserved partition and shouldn't have a drive letter assigned, shouldn't be used for data storage. My wife's Toshiba was showing a Drive E: at about 450MB and that low space message, removing the drive letter fixed it.
