Keyboard symbols coming up wrong.

I'm not sure if this is Windows 10 related, but suddenly my pound & hashtag symbols don't work, and my " and @ symbols are reversed.

I've checked my language is set to English UK.

Hi Lynda,

It sounds like you've got your language set as UK, but the keyboard may be set to USA.

If you could please go to Settings > Time and Language > Region and Language and check that the "country or region" is set to UK (I think you've done this already)... but also when you're on that page, click Advanced Keyboard Settings (on the right) and make sure that UK is also selected here.

I've attached a screenshot to show how mine looks (it's set to "use language list", but you can manually select UK here):
