There's been a lot of buzz about this WinRE update, and I've seen many people fix it by either using the PowerShell script Microsoft has provided or by manually using diskpart to resize their partition. I've tried resizing my Recovery partition to various sizes between 500 MB and 1500 MB, but the update always fails.
I also tried temporarily disabling BitLocker, used SFC /scannow, and performed the DISM checks, but everything appeared to be okay.
Event Viewer shows the following error with event ID 20: "Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x8024200B: 2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441)."
How can I resolve this issue?
