Junk mail in Inbox

For many years I have had successfully automatically filtered out Junk Mail by having my mail account settings for maximum security. However, in recent weeks some messages have been appearing in my Inbox, even though the addresses/domains are not in my Safe Senders or Contacts etc , so how is this possible and how can I prevent it.?

I would assume that whatever current filters you have in-place they are insufficient to catch those emails you are currently having problems with.
Maybe configure some additional (new) rules to target those senders (or their domains) more specifically.
