Joined W10 tech preview which expired

When I attempted to revert back to W7 it now says it is not genuine.
It was enuine for 5 years and now it is not?
What gives?

Not sure how you went about reverting back to W7, maybe explain a little more in detail and someone may have an explanation or suggestion.
Have you tried using the Phone method to activate

Thanks for the answer. I reverted back using an old W7 disc since I could not find any way to revert back through the W10 tech preview process. I will try to use the phone process.

That will work, I used it several times. It is all automated.
